COLON Sr., Hector L., 51, of Tampa, passed away April 6, 2016. He was born in Jersey City, NJ and moved to Tampa in 1994. He served in the US Marine Corp. He was a pastor and member of First Pentecostal Church. He loved to preach the gospel. He was an avid NY Yankee fan. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Sonia; son, Hector Colon Jr. (Betsaida); daughter, Cynthia Soto (Alexander); two grandchildren, Adrian and Naomi Colon; two brothers, Robert and Julio Colon; three sisters, Rachel Villanueva, Nelly Keller and Carolyn Flecha; extended family and friends. A funeral service will take place from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Florida Mortuary. The family will receive friends two hours prior to service.
