Helen B. Contreras, 85, of Oro Valley, passed away on August 25, 2019. She was born on August 7, 1934 to Frank and Victoria (Valdez) Bray in Winkelman, AZ where her family including Brothers and Sisters, Frank (Renee) Bray Jr., Estella (Art) Velasquez, Delia (Jack) Romero and Tony Bray lived until moving to Tucson in her early childhood. She attended Amphi High School as a part of the 1953 graduating class. On August 6, 1955 she married her highschool sweetheart, Edward at St. Augustine Cathedral Church in Tucson. Helen and Edward moved from Tucson to Oro Valley in 1977. Helen worked as a store Manager for Osco Drug Store in Tucson. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Helen is survived by her loving husband of 64 years Edward; Son, Michael (Katina) Contreras; Daughter, Anna (Ron) Falk; Son, Albert (Rosemary) Contreras; Son, Gilbert (Cathy) Contreras; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Father, Frank Villa Bray Sr.; Mother, Victoria Bray; Brother, Frank Bray Jr.; Sister, Estella Velasquez; Sister, Delia Romero; Brother, Tony Bray; Grandson, Marshall Contreras. Cremation will take place in the El Encanto Crematory-Northern. Mass offered Saturday, September 7 at 11:00 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
