Henry Perry Herold, Jr., age 81, of Venice, Florida, passed away on June 23, 2008. He was born on September 18, 1926 in Memphis, Tennessee. He owned and operated Hessco Company and G & H Plastics both in Michigan and moved to Venice in 1990 from Ypsilanti. He was a medic with the 82nd Airborne in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Donna; children, Sandra Adkins of Platteville, Colorado, LeeAnn Storey of Paradise Valley, Arizona, Susan Heede of Scottsdale, Arizona, Steven Herold of Scottsdale, Arizona, Michael Perry Herold of Denver, Colorado and a brother, Phillip Herold of Memphis, Tennessee. He also leaves behind six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 27, 2008 from 10:00am-11:30am with a service to follow at Farley Funeral Home in Venice. Burial will be held at Venice Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to TideWell Hospice & Palliative Care, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, Florida 34238. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
