Jean Woodson Palmer Royal passed away peacefully on August 15th. She leaves behind four loving children, three step children, their families and many friends. In her early life, she worked as an X-Ray technician, a legal secretary, and later as a realtor while being a full-time wife and mother. Jean was generous and caring and spent many years serving with Friendship Trays and later on the Salvation Army's Women's Auxiliary Board. We will deeply miss her, but her spirit will live on in the many lives she touched. Her memorial service will be held at Matthews Glen on August 28th at 1 PM. She requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be given to Trinity Presbyterian Church or the Salvation Army's Women's Auxiliary. Upon the family's request, masks will be worn at the service.
