Jeanne Carol Britton

Jeanne Britton (Bryan) of Oberlin, Kansas passed away at the young age of 74, on November 23, 2022 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born January 30, 1948 to Vic and Opal Bryan in Oberlin, Kansas. Jeanne lived on a farm thirteen miles out of town. She attended a country grade school, Plainview. After grade school she went to Decatur Community Jr/Sr high, and graduated in 1966. After high school she moved to Colorado, where she met Carlos and were married in 1982. They had two girls, Carla and Keri. Jeanne worked her way up through the school district at Adams 12, starting in the kitchen, and ending as a health aide. She enjoyed working with the children, and her co-workers. Jeanne enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her hobbies included working outside in her yard, playing cards along with other games, shopping, and getting new clothes. Her smile could light up a room. She was also a member of the Oberlin United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Vic and Opal Bryan; husband, Carlos Britton; and other relatives and friends. Jeanne is survived by her sister, Sharon (Marvin) Slabaugh of Oberlin, Kansas; daughters, Carla Britton of Colorado, and Keri Britton of Oberlin, Kansas; one grandson, Dobby Britton of Oberlin, Kansas; along with other friends and family.
