Jenna Renee Filson-Patrick
June 21st, 1984 - December 6th, 2020
Jenna Renee Filson-Patrick was born of Elizabeth and Ralph Filson on June 21, 1984 at Baptist Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. An outgoing child, that hated change, Jenna attended school in: Aiken, South Carolina; Shamong, New Jersey; and Lexington South Carolina. Having her daughter, Leena, at 20 years of age, Jenna obtained her Associates degree as a paralegal. Finding that she loved helping people, she worked as a recruiter and lastly in the Human Resources Department for the United States Department of Justice. Described by her co-workers, whom she loved, as a smiling light having a kind word for everyone, was interested in them personally as well as professionally. Jenna died on December 6, 2020 and is sorely missed by her family, many friends and co-workers. Jenna is survived by: her daughter, Leena; husband, Shawn Patrick; sister, Elissa Filson; father, Ralph Filson; and mother and step-father, Elizabeth and Wes Carter.
