Jerry GarrisOAKRIDGE — A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at Oakridge Nazarene Church for Jerry Garris of Oakridge, who died Nov. 5 of age-related causes. He was 94.He was born April 4, 1917, in Wallace, Idaho, to John and Aleta Hoodenpyl Garris. He married Faye Hilton on May 20, 1961, in Reno, Nev.He owned Oakridge Trucking for 30 years.Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Carolyn Dragoo of Bend; and four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.Inurnment will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14, at Forest View Cemetery in Forest Grove.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to Doernbecher’s Children Hospital in Portland.
