Johnson, John M. "Buddy", age 76, of Albuquerque, NM, formerly of Midland, TX went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at his home surrounded by family. He was born January 27, 1936. John was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Johnson; his mother, Pauline Johnson; brothers, Darnell Johnson and Eugene Johnson and two sisters, JoAnn Cooper and Dorothy Robbins. He is survived by his wife, Sally Johnson; his sons, Les Johnson and wife Kelly of Midland, TX, Wes Johnson, Bruce Johnson and wife Carolyn Johnson; his stepson, Walter Scott and wife Debbie Scott and step-daughter Cathy Wilkins; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 3:00 PM on Friday, December 28, 2012 at Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque, located at 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM. The family will receive guests after the Memorial Service at American Legion Post 49, 11005 Central Avenue NE, Albuquerque, NM.
