Joseph G. Friedman, 84, of Galloway, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 16, 2021. Legacy Born and was married in Shamokin, PA. Joe joined the Navy and his family followed him to his stationed ports. After the Navy he moved to West Deptford and then he retired in Galloway, NJ. Joseph was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved to be around his family especially the time he spent with his wife Ruth. Joe enjoyed fishing, camping, wood working, leather work and shooting at the range. He was a proud member of the United States Navy, serving for 20 years and working as a civilian for the Navy for another 30 years. Family He is the beloved husband of over 50 years wonderful years to the late Ruth Friedman (nee Mauer). Devoted father of Duane Friedman (Lisa) and Brian Friedman (Cheryl). Adored grandfather of Mark Friedman and step-grandfather to Samatha Baker. Son of the late Joseph Friedman and Frances Friedman (nee Metscoviak). Dear brother of Barbara and the late Elizabeth. He will be missed by family, friends and his furry pals Loki and the late Coco. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday, August 23rd from 9:00AM to 10:15AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home - Woodbury, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096. Funeral Mass at 11:00AM in the Holy Angels Parish at St. Patrick's Church, 64 Cooper Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096. Entombment to follow at the Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.
