JOYCE ANN GILLILAND, 84, of Ladson, SC, passed away on March 26th, 2024. Joyce was born on September 19, 1939 to Omar Earl Jackson Jr. and Marjorie Elaine Winters in Baldwin City, KS. She graduated from Rosalia High School in 1957. Joyce Gilliland and Freddie Hugh Gilliland wed in 1956, going on to have six children. Joyce and Freddie lived in many places throughout Freddie’s career in the Navy. JOYCE A GILLILAND was predeceased by her husband, her mother, her father, one grandson, and two brothers. She is survived by her six children, Debra Elaine Friend (Bob), Sherri Lynne Gilliland, Tamela Lee Collins (Charlie), Virginia Dianne Whitty (Alan), David Nathan Gilliland (Debbie), and Franklin Hugh Gilliland (Dawn), one brother, Larry K Jackson (Judy), 18 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren. Services will be held in Independence, KS. Date and time to be determined
