Juanita Rayburn-Anthony
June 22nd, 1929 - September 26th, 2017
Juanita Rayburn-Anthony passed away September 26, 2017, at the age of 88 years. Juanita was born in Spearman, Texas, on June 22, 1929. Juanita was a Yuba-Sutter resident for over 63 years. She worked in retail-sales for over 30 years. After retirement, Juanita enjoyed canning fruits and vegetables from her husband Charlie's garden. She also loved quilting. She is survived by her husband Charles Anthony of 35 years; sister, Leota Shouse, of Rayse, Texas; two sons, Larry Rayburn and David Rayburn of Yuba City; daughter, Karen Nelson of Marana, Arizona; and five grandchildren, Jason Nelson of Yuba City, Kristin Sulak of Midlothian, Texas, Stephanie Tillson of Portland, Oregon, Holly Taylor of Roseville, CA, Sara Rayburn of Chico, CA; and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by three brothers, Clifford, Raymond and Jack Holt; her son, Stephen Rayburn; and two grandsons Matthew Rayburn and Justin Nelson. At her request a funeral service will not be held. A private family gathering at graveside Sutter Cemetery.
