HACKNEY, Katherine M., 84, of Tampa passed away June 10, 2010. Her first love was her children and grandchildren, then going to the Hardrock Casino and playing bingo. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hackney Sr., an original Hillsborough River Rat. Katherine is survived by her children, William Hackney Jr., JoAnn Hackney Graese and Sandra Hackney Robertson; grandchildren, Jerry Waits, William Hackney III, Steven Hackney and Tara Escobio; great-grandchildren, Shanna Incardona, Hannah Hackney, Andrew Escobio, Jacob Hackney Hunter Waits, Easton Waits and Jaylyn Waits; brothers, Don Moser and Norman Moser; sisters, Jackie Tague and Patty Roy. A Celebration of her life will be 2 – 4 pm Saturday, June 12, at 9718 North Oregon Avenue, Tampa.
