Kenneth C. Bustamante

Kenneth C. Bustamante, 50, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 24, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Socorro, NM on January 23, 1967 to Clemente and Romelia (Reyes) Bustamante. Ken was a lifelong resident of Polvadera, NM where he operated the family farm, his favorite place to be. He never met a stranger. He was always there for family and friends with a helping hand and a smile on his face. His laughter was so contagious it could be heard for miles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his beloved father and sister, Ingrid. Ken is survived by his loving wife, Myrna, his devoted children Natasha (James), Nadia, Clement (Cara), Desiree (Brittany), Zarina (Eddie), JB, JosLynn, Kenneth (Shaina) and Levi and his mother, Romelia who he loved and adored. He is also survived by his precious grandchildren Sean, Kadeyn, Jazmine, Ky'Lea, Julijah, Mireya, Kennedy, and Lauren who adoringly referred to him as "Papa." He will be missed by his siblings, Eddie (Jeanette), Brenda (Pat) and Paul and numerous nieces and nephews. The Holy Rosary will be recited on Thursday, December 28 at 8:30 a.m. at San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro, NM followed by the Mass of Resurrection which will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., interment will be held at San Lorenzo Catholic Cemetery in Polvadera, NM with a reception to follow at Bustamante Farms in Polvadera. Pallbearers are Paul Bustamante, Jr., Dominick Coughlin, Clement Bustamante, JB Gonzales, Kenneth Bustamante II and Levi Bustamante. Honorary Pallbearers are Brandon Coughlin, Kadeyn McNeil, Desiree Bustamante, Brittany McDaniel, James McNeil and the many friends he left behind.
