Talbert, Kenneth John age 67 of Largo, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016, at Largo Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Owosso, MI, on March 21, 1949 to the late John R. Talbert and the late Pauline I. Fritcher, he married Pauline Kuester on December 16, 1971. .A veteran of the United States Marines Corps., serving during Vietnam, he also served in Japan . Kenneth is survived by his Wife of 45 years; children, Son, Robert Talbert; Two Daughters, Christina (Talbert) Greggs & Charles of Stoneboro, Pa., Nicole (Talbert) Abel & Jeremy of St. Petersburg, Fl.; Sister, Bonnie Isbell of Arab, Al.; Brother, Tim Talbert & Audrey of Hayesville, NC..There will be a memorial service on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 3:00 pm, Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd. St. Petersburg, FL 33708 with private family interment at a later date. Ken Talbert was a retiree of GTE after 29 years of service which took him to Hawaii from July 1989 to December of 1989 & went on to work for George F. Young, Inc. He's passion was fishing, boating & being with loved ones. He is survived by his four grand children; Alyssa, Austin, Zoe, Dakota & one great grand son; Liam & his best friend Jerry & Jackie Logaman. & many nieces & nephews. He will be greatly missed by all those who's life's he touched. His time on earth has been served. Semper Fi! In lieu of flowers please donate to The Wounded Warrior Project. The family requests no black atire, but Harley tee's are welcome.
