Lanny Light
November 26th, 1939 - June 7th, 2015
Lawrence Lanny Lee Light, 75, of Denver CO passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015. He was born in Lamar CO, on November 26, 1939 to the late Bonnie and LaVerne Light. Lanny obtained his GED while serving in the U.S Navy. He married Sharon Nuttall of Brigham City, Utah on May 31, 1965. They later moved to Colorado. Lanny was an over the road truck driver and when he retired, he spent time doing the things he loved, Lanny was an avid hunter and loved camping and working at the gun shows. Lanny was a beloved member of the Estes Park community and could frequently be found serving on the Rooftop Rodeo committee. Lanny is survived by three children; Lisa Olguin, of Broomfield CO; Marcie Tusek of Arvada CO; and Kelly Martinez, of Arvada, CO. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, his sister Sharon Dilley and nephew Doug Dilley. A celebration of life will be held at the family home on Friday June 12, 2015.
