May 31st, 1947 - December 11th, 2013
LEONARD R. REINDERS age 66 of Johnson Creek, passed away Wednesday December 11, 2013 at his home. He was born on May 31, 1947 in Waukesha son of the late Raymond and Genevieve (Cheaney) Reinders. Leonard and his family moved to Johnson Creek area in 1956. He was a dairy farmer most all of his life. Leonard enjoyed collecting toy tractors, and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Johnson Creek. He will be deeply missed by his Soul-mate Carol Nelson of Johnson Creek, 3 sons; Pete (Jenny) Reinders of Oconomowoc, and their Michael (Angela) Reinders of Eagan MN, Matthew (Alison) Reinders of Edgar, 8 grandchildren; Cassandra, Calvin, Cameron Reinders, Mitchel, Emma Ruhnke, Gwyneth Reinders, Kelsey Strobel, Paige Reinders. One great grandchild; Violette Reinders. One sister; Rita (Gerald) Bauman, 3 brothers; David (Mary Jo) Reinders of Stoddard, Donald (Kay) Reinders of Jefferson, Lawrence (Janice) Reinders of Johnson Creek. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday December 14, 2013 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Johnson Creek, with the Rev. David Wanish officiating. Visitation will be on Friday evening from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson and then again on Saturday morning at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
