Leora "Lee" Adams Eleazer. 90 years old, went to join her brothers and sisters in heaven on January, 10, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Reverend N. Hoyt Adams and Dessie Heaton Adams born in Ridgeland SC. She was a graduate of Dreher High School, Columbia, SC and an active charter member of the A.B. Ferguson class and sang with the Magnifiers. She was a retired legal secretary. Lee enjoyed puzzles, painting, crosswords, scrabble, cards and was a competitive bridge player. She loved her family very much and worked hard to help them whenever she could. Lee is survived by her husband of over 70 years, Robert, a son Bobby Eleazer (Marcia), two grand daughters Sarah Chambers (Josh), Lauren WIlliams (Kale), great grand children Gavin and Liam Chambers and a number of nieces and nephews. Lee was preceded in death by her youngest son, Brent Hoyt Eleazer, two brothers and four sisters. Her family extends sincere appreciation to her caregivers at Morningside of Lexington, Carroll Campbell Place and Compassionate Care Hospice. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park from 10AM until 11 AM. Funeral services will follow the visitation. Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park . Memorials may be made to the Main Street United Methodist Church, 1830 Main Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
