Linda Lee Lamb-Langdon (37) passed away on January 9, 2010 at her home in Rockledge, Florida. She is survived by her husband, Ted Langdon; her mother, Evangeline Lamb; two sisters Cynthia Parr and Heather Powell; two nieces, Evelyn Powell and Jordan Hodges; three nephews, Chas and Shane Parr and Charlie Hodges; and loving in-laws Steve Parr, Becky Wilson, Julie and Rich Kasprzyk, Brandis Berry, Macy Berry, Jason Berry, Minnie Hodges, Olivia Hodges, Amelia Hodges, Della Hodges, Isabella Hodges, Shannon and Misty Hodges. Linda was born in Chester, Pennsylvania. She was a member of the first graduating class of Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She worked for the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Fort Lauderdale until 2004, demonstrating considerable computer and organization skills. Several years ago she found a spiritual program in Cocoa that saved her life. She also enjoyed writing, cooking, and home decorating. In addition to her human family, Linda was devoted to her beloved dogs Zues, Fletch (both deceased) and their godsend Bella, as well as her cat Baby Fred. Linda found homes for many stray animals found in Fort Lauderdale parks; she rescued Baby Fred as a kitten, and adopted Bella from the Central Brevard Humane Society. Linda's family invites all who wish to celebrate her life to join us for a visitation at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home on Friday, January 14 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. A memorial service will be held Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home on Saturday, January 15 at 2:00pm. Donations in honor of Linda may be made to the Central Brevard Humane Society (http://www.crittersavers.com/) and/or Liver Transplant organizations. We want to give special heartfelt thanks to Sarah Chatfield and Nikki Wojcik and all of Linda's dear friends for their help caring for Linda in her times of need. 1 Attached Images Gathering of Friends JAN 14. 07:00 PM - 09:00 PM Beckman Williamson Funeral Home & Crematory 5400 Village Drive Viera, FL, US, 32940 Celebration of Life JAN 15. 02:00 PM Beckman Williamson Funeral Home & Crematory 5400 Village Drive Viera, FL, US, 32940
