Obituary Louis J. Adams, 72, died peacefully on June 14, 2015 in Monument, CO. He was born August 14, 1942 in Columbia, SC to Clarence Allen and Vernilla "Peaches" (Portee) Adams. He was raised in Newark, NJ where he graduated high school and went on to the Newark College of Engineering and graduated in 1964 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He later earned his Masters from USC, the University of Southern California. He entered the US Air Force in 1965 and retired a full Colonel in 1990. In both his military and civilian careers he worked in Aerospace. He was very proud of his service in the Air Force. Louis was generous, loving, brilliant, witty and funny. He enjoyed researching his familys genealogy, watching movies and cooking, especially for his family, while listening to his favorite, Motown!! Louis is survived by his wife, Jacqueline "Jacque" (Logan) Adams (married 5.24.1986); children, Paul & Letticia Adams, Jeff & Bernadette Adams and Laureen Adams; step children, Robert & Gail Howe, Carla Jones and Melissa Howe & Doug Gray; brother Clarence A. Adams, Jr.; grandchildren, Nathaniel Adams, Kurtis Adams, Kaila Adams, Marcus Adams, Salaam Lateef, Jelani Lateef, Kristen Howe, Tyler Howe, Renee Roberts, Tayler Roberts, Kimberley Mast, Jessica Early, Devin Rudisail, Lauren Rudisail.He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, LaVonne Hopkins.
