Lynda Lee Beck passed away May 17, 2016 at the Heart of Gold Assisted Living Facility in Morton, Washington, at age 75. She had been a resident of Mossyrock, Washington since 1975. Lynda was born June 16, 1940 to Joseph and Helen (McKnight) Donahue in Seattle, Washington. She graduated from West Seattle High School, and earned an Associate of Arts degree from Centralia Community College. Shortly after graduating from college in 1990, she became a social worker for the Department of Social and Health Services until she retired in 2008. She also had various occupations in Lewis County. Lynda married Jerry Beck on June 29, 1976. She is survived by her husband, Jerry; sons, Mike Abbott of Olympia, Washington, Mark Abbott (Cindy) of Montesano, Washington, and Matt Abbott (Sandy) of Chehalis, Washington; daughter, Marci White (Brian) of Chehalis; and eight grandchildren.
