Manuel “Manny” Isaac Jirón was born on Friday, June 17, 1988, in Denver, Colorado. Manny found peace on Monday, January 22, 2024, in Lakewood, CO. Manny is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Catarino and Regina A. Jirón, maternal grandfather Tony Gonzales, his older brother Israel and his nephew Zach. He is survived by his maternal grandmother, Ruth “Grannie” Gonzales, mother and father, Mary Star and Manuel Jirón, his sisters Angie, Catherine, Sonnessa, and Sara (Alejandro), twelve nieces and nephews, Isaiah (Janae), Sherrie, Brittany, Angelique, Matthew, Mashyiah, Alonzo, Alex, Grace, Hannah, Aaron, and Aitana, and six great nieces and nephews, Ahnesty, Vanity, Eliza, Aviano, Isaiah Jr., and Santana. Manny also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Manny was a true friend and everso faithful to his family– ready and willing at a moment’s notice, to endure whatever it took for the sake of family. He stepped up whenever his sisters needed protecting or their children needed a fatherly figure. He was a charismatic leader. He got down to the nitty-gritty and would stop at nothing for his family and anyone to whom he considered to be family. We will reminisce about his ever-present contagious smile, laugh, and the warmth, depth and intelligence behind it. Most of us will recall the sheer pleasure of his company, how good he made us feel, how you were free to be yourself around him. We will miss him and his famous hugs immensely.
