She is survived by sons Steve Castaneda of San Antonio, TX Robert Castaneda Jr. of Phoenix, AZ daughters Mary Alice (Fernando) Paz of San Antonio, TX Cora (Jose) Galindo of Cashion, AZ Yolanda (Jose) Rodezno of Salinas numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives preceded in death husband Robert Castaneda Sr. son Ernest Castaneda sisters mary Gomez, Josie Lopez brothers Rosendo Gomez, Fred Gomez Manuela emjoyed traveling to New Mexico, Texas, and Arizona. She enjoyed baking and talking on the phone with her friends. Manuela loved to spend quality timje with her large family and especially her grandchildren. She leaves her family the beloved recipe of her favorite cheese enchiladas. At Healey, we treat our Salinas Valley community members like family. Our story begins after World War II when Veteran Herbert C. Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
