Ms. Marcella B. Martinez passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her children and family on Sunday, June 11th, 2017. She is survived by her 2 children Ariana and Antonio Aragon, her grand daughter who is due to make her debut on August 7th. Her mother and father, Dennis Martinez & Nancy Martinez, Her sister Monica Rimbert & Husband Robert, and her brother Monte Cristo Martinez. 7 nephews, Robert, Sebastian, Abraham, & Francisco Rimbert, Jacob, Clemente, & Elijah Martinez, and 1 niece, Angel Nevaeh Rimbert. Marcella was born in Camp Pendelton, California on 01/17/1971. She graduated from Albuquerque High School in May of 1989. Her greatest hobby included gardening, where she grew the most beautiful colorful flowers. She picked a flower each morning to wear in her hair for work where she was a Kindergarten Educational Assistant at Barcelona Elementary School. Services are being held Saturday, 06/17/2017 @ 8:00am for a memory moment session, and 9:00am Mass @ St. Anne's Catholic Church 1400 Arenal Rd. SW 87105. Burial will take place @ Mount Calvary Cemetery. A luncheon in Marcella's honor will be held @ 1:00pm @ Barcelona Elementary School, 2311 Barcelona Rd. SW 87105.
