Marlene Neva Krebsbach

Marlene Neva Krebsbach passed away April 29, 2021, in Federal Way, Washington. She was born July 31, 1949, to Alfred Robert Shay and Elsie Evelyn Shay-Ottenstror in Yakima, Washington. She also lived in Black Diamond, Washington, from 1968 to 1989, and in Enumclaw, Washington, from 1989 to her death (24 years). Marlene graduated from beauty school, and married Roger Lee Krebsbach on July 31, 1968, in Garrison, North Dakota. Marlene was a strong woman with a lot of spirit and fire, and had a sharp eye and attention to detail. She was a homemaker who always kept a warm and clean home. Her love brought together a big family, and her kindness knew no bounds for each and every one of them. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading, baking, making quilts and blankets, and watching Jeopardy. She is survived by her husband, Roger Lee Krebsbach; sons, Tony Joe Krebsbach (Heather Fischer-Krebsbach), and Michael Jay Krebsbach (Julie); daughter-in-law, Heather Krebsbach; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Tim Shay (Aaron), Mickey Shay (Amy), Ricky Shay (Ron), Greg Shay (Tina), and Shawn Shay; and sister, Maryanne Shay. She was predeceased by her son, Shannon Krebsbach; her parents; sister, Colleen Shay-Gulan; and brothers, Danny Shay, Dennis Shay, and Jack Shay.
