April 5, 1959, lived the majority of her life in Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona, and most recently in Brentwood, CA. Never one to mince words, Maryse ('Beastie' to her family) is best described as a wonderfully fun powerhouse, witty, generous and a selfless Mama Bear to her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Maryse was proud of her Irish ancestry, a skilled hairdresser, an outstanding cook and an active volunteer for the Ladies Auxiliary VFW acting as vice president of the Brentwood, CA chapter. She leaves behind her daughter, Nicole (Carl) Thomae; four sons, Marcel De La Vara, Andre De La Vara, Martin (Megan) De La Vara and Cade Borel. She is the grandmother to Arianna, Javi, Miguel, Liam and Mallory. Maryse is also survived by her sisters, Michele Lundy, Maureen Marum, Marlene Field and Marielle Brandt; brothers, Michael Brandt, Martin Brandt, Matthew Brandt and her partner, Kraig Kingsley. Maryse was predeceased by her brother, Mark and parents, Michael "Jerry" and Aloyse Brandt. The memories she made with family and friends will be forever cherished.
