Michael Sambrano passed away January 31st at St. Joseph Hospital due to heart complications. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Miguel and June Sambrano. He is survived by his wife of almost 22 years, Shawna Sambrano, and their two sons Coen and Michael. He is also survived by his sisters Denise and Robin, brother in law Tony, brother Carlos, nephews Kirk and Derrick, and niece Rikki. He also had several blood and “adopted” nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. Michael was a friend to everyone. He was the life of the party and loved to make people laugh. He always knew what to say and exactly how and when to say it. Michael loved his music, and was an amazing singer. One of my favorite memories with him—as well as probably Derrik’s—is going to see U2 in concert with him. Man, something just woke up inside him when he would listen to them. It was like every pain was gone for that brief moment of whatever song he was listening to. You will be truly missed my love. You can take your place among the angels now. We love you. “Sleep sleep tonight, and may your dreams be realized”- U2 Donations can be made to the family at http://www.facebook.com/donate/710420656253248
