Mildred "Milly" G. Jensen
June 30th, 1919 - January 29th, 2011
Mildred G. "Milly" Jensen Of Waukesha, Passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the age of 91 years. Milly was born June 30, 1919, the daughter of Emil and Laura Gruett in Wauwatosa, WI. She married the love of her life, Walter Jensen on May 3, 1952. Milly was a long time member of the Evangelical & Reformed United Church of Christ, where she volunteered. She was also a member of the Sarah Circle, Oakdale Home Makers Group and the W.O.W (Widow and Widowers Group). Milly enjoyed swimming at the YWCA and was an avid Packer fan, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Milly will be sadly missed by her children, Laurie (Bruce) Ellenson of Waukesha and Brian Jensen of Milwaukee. She is the loving grandmother of Ryan (Jennifer) Ellenson, Brandon Ellenson and Brett Ellenson; proud great grandmother of Logan Ellenson. Further survived by her nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter; son, John Jensen; brother, Harold Gruett; sister, Marion Funking and brothers and sisters-in law. The funeral service for Milly will be held on Saturday, February, 5, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI. Reverend Ralph Schultz will officiate. The visitation for Milly will be on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the 3:00 service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Evangelical & Reformed United Church of Christ, 413 Wisconsin Ave. Waukesha, WI 53186. Burial will be private at Pinelawn Cemetery.
