Mildred "Millie" C. Kimbrel

Mildred "Millie" C. Kimbrel, 92, of Haines City, FL, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2024, at the Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, FL. Born on December 8, 1931, in Holmes County, FL, to Cleveland W and Mabel Marshall Carswell. She spent 35 years working in the banking industry before transitioning to the real estate industry, where she worked for 20 years at Webbs Realty in Davenport, FL. Known for her tireless work ethic, she never truly retired, constantly staying engaged and active. She moved to Haines City in 1955 from Lake Alfred, FL, and was a devoted member of NorthRidge Church in Haines City, FL.

Millie enjoyed a variety of activities, including golfing, playing dominoes, and taking daily walks, which she took seriously. She found joy in reading the Bible, attending church, and spending time with her beloved family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She cherished family vacations to Marisa Judd's cabin with her sisters and took pride in organizing the annual family reunion, a testament to her hardworking nature and her love for family gatherings. 

Millie is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James G. Kimbrel; and seven siblings. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Matthew J. Kimbrel of Davenport, FL; Debb Kimbrel of Davenport, FL; her daughter, Kathryn Webb and her husband, John of Winter Haven, FL; her grandchildren, Brandy (Eric), Jessica (Mikko), Ashley (Pat), and RJ (Ellie); and great-grandchildren, Briceson Lanphar and fiancée, Madison Bucceri, Emry Dykes, Eli Dykes, Madelyn Palomaki, Jackson Palomaki, Maebelle Greene, Millyellen Greene, Emmalyn Greene, Ansley Webb, Ava Webb, Whit Webb, all of whom will deeply miss her.

A celebration of Millie’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 5:30 PM at NorthRidge Church in Haines City, FL. The family will be receiving friends at 5:00 PM. Final resting place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, FL.
