Surrounded by a tight-knit loving family, Mitchell Clay Dellinger, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2024. He was born on January 17, 1951 in Palo Alto, California, to Clay and Lucy Dellinger. Mitch served honorably for the United States military during the Vietnam War.
Mitch met the love of his life at a very young age. Mitch and Cecilia would then start one of the greatest love stories in high school. They were married on August 24, 1969. As newlyweds, they got the unique experience of living in Germany. During the 54 years they were married, they fell more in love with each other as each day passed. They would go on to have two beautiful daughters who were the light of his life: Jennifer and Jill. His name would then quickly change to “Papa,” after his seven grandchildren came into his life: Jordan, Jonathan, Arianna, Jillian, Noah, Angie, and Cindella; and his three great grandkids: Jaxon, Jonathan, and Mia.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to him. He loved to play and talk about golf, as well as cheering with his whole heart for the San Francisco 49ers. Mitch will be forever missed and forever in his family's hearts.
Mitchell will be laid to rest at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery on April 16, 2024 at 11am.
10100 N Horseshoe Bend Rd, Boise ID 83714.
Mitchell is survived by his wife, Cecilia Dellinger; his daughters and son in laws: Jennifer (Michael) Alias, Jill (Eric) Ochoa; his grandchildren: Jordan Alias, Melissa Alias, Jonathan Alias, Servahn Alias, Arianna Badillo, Moyito Pintor, Jillian Alias, Angie Badillo, and Cindella Ochoa; along with his great-grandchildren: Jaxon Alias, Jonathan Alias, and Mia Pintor.

Accent Funeral Home
A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve....
