Nancy L. Fortson (nee Holifield) 

Beloved mother and grandmother and widow of Eddie Fortson. Passed away on September 25, 2024, born on May 11, 1954 in Summerville, SC to Riley C. Holifield and Irene E. Holifield (Bunch)   She was Salutatorian from Berkeley High School. She is survived by her 3 daughters Rebecca( Steven) Moore, Jennifer Cammarota and Amanda Smith as well as 6 grandchildren Katherine, Ariane, Hunter, Elizabeth, Joseph and Connor.  She is also survived by her siblings Pamela (Rick) Holifield  Spivey, Cindy(John) Holifield Reeves,Bud (Terry)Holifield and David (Tammy) Holifield as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was loved by many people including many adopted kids and grandkids.  Nancy was a very loving and giving person and a person of great faith.    She also had a wonderful sense of humor. She will always be our shining star. 

A celebration of life will be planned for next year.
