Patricia “Patty” Lyn Klein, 39, of Venice, FL died as a result of fatal injuries in a single car accident on Thursday, December 30, 2010. On Tuesday, January 4, a Memorial Gathering will be held from 3-6 PM, at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. On Wednesday, January 5, a Memorial Gathering will be held from 10-11 AM with a Celebration of Life Service at 11 AM at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. Inurnment immediately following at Venice Memorial Gardens. Patty was a critical care nurse with Bayflight Helicopter Transport Services for 12 years and has worked at various hospitals in Sarasota, Tampa, and California. Patty had a love for horses since the age of 8 years old that continued throughout her life. Survivors include her parents, Joan and William Klein of Venice, FL; sister, Christine Calhoun as well as two nieces, Macy and Bailey, all of Chatham, VA; her beloved dog Sake’ and horses, Pappy and Boom. She will be dearly missed by all those whose lives she touched including her family, friends, co-workers and her beloved pets.
