March 17th, 1927 - December 28th, 2016
May was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Fred Berg and Mary E. Sanchez/Berg. From Cheyenne the family moved to Guadalupita, NM and lived various other New Mexico locations. May met and married Pete Montoya, living and raising her family in Las Vegas, NM, till moving to Albuquerque in 1962. She enjoyed volunteering her time at Hawthorne Elementary School while raising her family. May is survived by her husband Pete Montoya, Children Fred and wife Cindy, Anita, Clara, and 5 Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son Peter Patrick, and daughter Kathy. Funerals Service will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque Chapel, 225 San Mateo NE. Followed by Burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery 12:30 pm, 1900 Edith Blvd NE.
