May 13th, 1929 - January 6th, 2014
Columbia- Paul Richard "Dick" Wilcox, Jr., 84 of Columbia, passed away January 6, 2014 at Lexington Medical Center. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at The Church of the Epiphany 2512 N Beltline Blvd at 11 a.m. with retired Reverend Paul Hewett and Reverend George Alexander officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to the Boy Scouts of America, PO Box 144, Columbia, SC 29202 or www.give2bsa.org. Born in Seiling, Oklahoma, Dick was a son to the late Paul R. and Anna White Wilcox, Sr. Dick was a Veteran of the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Dick is survived by his son, Daniel (Miriam) Wilcox of Columbia; three granddaughters, Raney Wilcox, Mary Catherine Wilcox and Margaret Anne Wilcox. Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia Chapel, 200 State Street, West Columbia, SC, 29216 is assisting the family.
