Peter Joseph Vassello, Sr.

Peter Joseph Vassello, Sr. died on Dec.7, 2021. He was the husband of Marian, and together they shared 66 years of marriage, love and laughs. Born in Huntington Station, NY, he was the son of Joseph and Josephine Vassallo. He served in the army before working for many years at Grumman and LILCO. He retired to Bradenton, FL, and then moved to Hilton Head, SC in 2018. Pete will be remembered for his sense of humor, singing and for his devotion to his wife. He is survived by his wife, sons James and wife Carol, Peter and wife Cindy, and daughter Lee Anne and husband Dan, his sister, Josephine, nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and many loved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Michael, his sister, Jean and his parents. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
