Ralph V. Burns

Burns, Ralph Valentine age 89 of St. Petersburg, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at home where he was surrounded by his loving family. Born in Petersburg, VA, on March 13, 1927 to the late Ralph Malcolm Burns and the late Earline Pearl Valentine, he married Laura Haven on September 2, 1949. Ralph was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during WWII as a Chaplain's Assistant. He and his family lived in Morocco where he served as a Missionary. Although Governmental changes hindered his to return to serve in Morocco, he ministered as a beloved Bible teacher in his local church and community. Ralph is survived by his Wife of 67 years; Two Daughters, Linda Burns, Lydia Burns; Two Sons, Stephen Burns and Bruce Burns and his Sister Wanda Ryburn.His grandchildren, Miriam Burrill Kysar, Bryan Burns, Michelle Quackenbush Garcia, Bradley Burns, Daniel Quackenbush, and Amanda Burns Hand. He also has nine great-grandchildren and many other loving relatives. Services will be held at Grace Bible Church - 555 61st Street South, St. Petersburg, FL 33707 (727) 345-0534 on Tuesday November 22, 2016 - beginning at 2:00 PM.
