Raymond Bernard Connell Raymond B. Connell, 89, of Rotonda West, FL., formerly of Wilmington and Millsboro, DE died Monday, April 6, 2009 at Englewood Community Hospital. He was born on June 20, 1919 in Christiana, PA to John Henry and Cecelia Margaret (Grassl) Connell. Mr. Connell served in the U.S. Army during WW-II. He owned and operated a Interior Decorating Business for 46 years. Upon retiring he moved to Florida in 1991. He was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Grove City. Survivors include his daughter Laura Lee (Jack) Morris of Seaford, DE: two grand daughters; Julia Alcott Morris and Madeline Taylor Morris: step daughter Carol (Ted) Connelly and their children and numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at Englewood Community Funeral Home, Inc. 3070 S. McCall Rd. A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church 5265 Placida Rd. at 10:00 AM. Additional services will be held at the Doherty Funeral Home in Wilmington, DE with burial at Silver Brook Cemetery.
