Raymond Henderson Raymond Thomas Henderson, 84 of Junction City passed away October 31, 2013. He was born to the late Jesse and Veda Henderson on September 26, 1929 in Junction City. Ray attended Harrisburg Union High school and later joined the U.S. Navy. He married his wife Mary Howe in 1950. Ray was a head custodian at Laurel Elementary until his retirement in 1993. He loved his job and seeing the smiling faces of children in the halls and classrooms on a daily basis. Ray loved fishing, wood cutting and his prized 1929 Model A, as well as his family. Ray is survived by his wife Mary, his daughter Chris, and son Russ, both of Junction City. He is also survived by two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A visitation will held Friday, November 8 from 6 to 8 PM at the Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 9 at 1:30 PM at the Junction City Moose Lodge. Memorial contributions may be made to Laurel Elementary School in Junction City.
