Raymond Leon Mills

Raymond Mills, 74, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023. Raymond was born to the late William Lester and Clara Ethel Mills on March 18, 1949, in Southville, KY. He was a member of Olive Branch Methodist Church. Raymond was a hard worker and did farm work for as long as he was able to. He was an avid planespotter and would enjoy watching the air traffic at area airports. He was also a bird lover and always had pet birds for many years. He adored his little parakeet named Baby. Raymond is survived by his loving wife Jo Ann Mills of Shelbyville; daughter, Melissa Mills (Travis Jaggers) of Shelbyville; son Jason Mills-Shoulta (Edward Shoulta-Mills) of Atlanta; sister, Peggie Chandler of Shelbyville; brother, Danny Mills of Shelbyville, and one grandson, Vincent Jaggers of Shelbyville. He is preceded in death by his parents William and Clara Mills; sister, Patricia “Boo” Mills; and brother, Donnie Mills.
