Rebecca Ann Hurley
January 11th, 1966 - December 7th, 2018
Rebecca Ann Hurley, 51, native and lifelong resident of the Salinas valley passed away on December 7, 2018 at her home in Prunedale. Rebecca loved being a Mom and Grandmother, tending to her family and also loved animals. Rebecca is survived by, her daughters, Rebecca Martinez and Gina Gitchel sons, Anthony (Terra) Martinez and Brandon Gitchel father, Marshall Hurley sister, Lisa Doubek and brothers, Stanley, Robert and Richard Hurley grandchildren, Haleigh, Eli , Augie, Cheyenne and Shayne also survive along with numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. She is preceded in death by, her mother, Ruth Hurley and brother, Marshall Hurley, Jr. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018 1-9pm at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd Salinas, CA 93905. Funeral Services will take place on Friday, Dec. 21, 2018 1pm at the Healey Mortuary Chapel. Bural to follow services at the Garden of Memories Cemetery 850 Abbott St. Salinas, CA 93901.

Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
