Mr. Richard L. "Richie" Farley JR., Age 38, of Auburndale, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2010 due to heart failure. Born in Newton, Iowa, Richie had lived in this area since 1979. He was a minister of music and was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Auburndale. Richie loved music and enjoyed teaching and working with youth. He is survived by his wife, Chris Farley of Auburndale, sons, Richard L. "Trey" Farley III and Zack Farley of Auburndale, daughter, Melody Farley of Auburndale, his parents, Pastor Richard & Patricia Farley of Winter Haven, a brother, David Farley of Winter Haven and his father and mother in law Paul and Patricia Tipton of Ft. Pierce. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:00 PM at the First missionary Baptist Church in Auburndale, with visitation beginning at 2:00 PM at the church. Kersey Funeral Home, Auburndale serving the family.
