FOURNIER, Richard, 53, of Land O’ Lakes, FL passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013. He was born in South Bend, IN and moved to Florida in 1979. Richard worked 26 years for Colonial Plastics. He loved music and was passionate about Notre Dame Football. Richard loved being a pilot. Flying was his true passion and he achieved his dream of flying a helicopter and a Lear jet. He had the best sense of humor and loved playing practical jokes on his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Donna Rose and his brother, Greg. He is survived by his wife of eight years, Rhonda; three daughters, Nicole Tackett and her husband, Dennis, Amanda Shelton and her husband, Michael and Olivia Rose; step-children, Daniel, Thomas, Rachel Frazier; Step-siblings, Cindi Hunter and her husband, Jim, John Sowers and his wife, Heidi, Tracy Sowers, Dean Sowers and his wife, Denise; parents, Terry Fournier and his wife, Loretta and Nadine Davis Picking and her husband, Robert; brother, Troy Fournier and his wife, Sheri; two sisters, Lisa Gawn and Tricia Coates; four grandchildren, Serena, Brooke, MiKayla, Dennis. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 2nd, at the Calvary Tabernacle in Thonotosassa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Florida Cancer Research and Institute or the charity of your choice.
