He was born on August 3, 1953, in Brooksville, Florida to Jefferson Townsend and Eunice (Ferrell) Townsend. Richard is survived by his wife Anna Townsend, Auburndale, Fl, sister-in-law Judy Politanont, Seattle Washington, niece Elizabeth Polson, Gainesville, Fl. Aunt Vera, and Cousin Debbie Kirk, Bushnell, Fl., He was preceded in death by: Both parents Memorial service for Mr. Richard Townsend will be held at the National Cemetery in Bushnell Florida on July 20th, 2023 at 10:30am.
