Mr. Robert “Robbie” William Barton,49, went to be with our Lord and Savior on August 2nd, 2023. He was born March 6th, 1974 in Greensboro, North Carolina. Robbie was a current student at Wake County Community College getting a degree in construction management. He was also an active member of his local church community. Robbie was known for being the life of the party, always cracking jokes, and dancing around, especially when it came to cheering on Duke. He was also a proud Marine Corps Veteran known for his advocacy for all veterans. Words to describe Robbie were often silly, sweet, protective, caring, and outdoorsy. One of Robbie's many hobbies included fishing on a nice summer day. Robbie is survived by his mother, Martha Barton; his father, Thomas Barton; his stepmother, Doreen Barton; his sister, Angelia Hall and brother-in-law, Joe Hall; his brother, Anthony Scott Barton and sister-in-law, Nona Barton; and many loving nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, and many friends. A private celebration of life may be held at a later date. Friends and family may sign the guestbook online at www.piercejeffersonfh.com
