Carlson, Roberta Lois, Longtime resident of North St. Paul, MN. Roberta died peacefully at home with her family on April 4, 2024. Born July 23, 1925 in Lewistown, Montana. Roberta grew up in California and Idaho. She served in the WAVES during WWII. She married John Carlson and settled in Minnesota where they raised their four children. As a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in North St. Paul she was active in her Circle, Children's Drama, and as a Luther League leader. John and Roberta enjoyed travel. They often had their grandchildren in tow especially to Ely to their lake cabin. She was much loved by all and was truly a kind and wonderful person. Preceded in death by her husband John Maurice Carlson and son John Michael Carlson. Survived by daughters Terry Carlson and Suzanna (Neil) Maldeis; son Richard (Kathy); Grandchildren Katie, Kristen, Ashley (Jason), Dana, Richard (Nicole), Eric, Bjorn, Ebony (Matt) ; and great-grandchildren Andre, Andrew, Claire, Lucy, Henry, Jordan, Riley, Eleanora. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the donor's choice or the North St. Paul Food Shelf. Private service and interment. The family would like to thank Allina Hospice staff for all of their care and support.
