Rosa Davault Rector

Rosa Lena Rector 5/29/1932 - 11/30/2021 Rosa DaVault Rector passed away November 30, 2021. She was preceded by her husband of 70 years, Clayton Rector, who sadly passed away November 21, 2021, nine days earlier. She is survived by her children Ron (Laurie) Rector, Brenda (Ed) Harris, Rick (Sandy) Rector; two grandchildren Joshua (Jessica) Harris, Jillian (Zac) Canale; four great-grandchildren Cade Canale, Logan Harris, Wyatt Harris, and Sadie Canale; and her brother John DaVault. Rosa was born in Kenefic, OK and raised in Durant, OK. She had a passion for music, and her dream was to become a music teacher one day. Along with motherhood, she worked as a florist assistant in Dallas, TX, and at Holmes Elementary in Mesa, AZ as a cafeteria assistant. Rosa loved being a mom, spending time with her family, cooking (she was an exceptional cook), the company of good friends, dancing, a great song and had an appreciation for flowers and birds. She particularly enjoyed an unplanned adventure while road tripping, never failing to remind whichever kid was driving to "go faster!" We will miss those adventures and she will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Celebration of Life memorial services will be held on Saturday January 15, 2022, at the First Assembly of God church located at 651 N. Ocotillo Drive in Apache Junction at 11:00 A.M.
