Ryan "Pic" C. Pichler, of Waukesha, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the age of 17. He was born on November 12, 1999 in Milwaukee, the son of Mark and Debbie (Beaster) Pichler. Ryan was a senior at Waukesha West High School and joined Track and Field where he proudly became captain of the Cross Country team. He was an active member at Ascension Lutheran Church in Waukesha, participating in numerous leadership roles, MIME Ministry, and the youth group. Ryan took joy in spending time with and mentoring children who have special needs. Ryan and his sister were inseparable as they grew up and shared in many adventures. He and Grandpa Ron loved to spend time together playing games. Ryan was a kind, caring young man who gave of himself to enrich the lives of everyone he touched. Ryan will be deeply missed by his parents, Mark and Debbie; siblings, Lauren and Michael; paternal grandmother, Patricia Schroeckenthaler; maternal grandparents, Robert and Marjorie Beaster; nieces and nephews, Hannah, Lincoln, Emmett, and Maryn; aunts and uncles, Jim and Julie Pichler, Chris and Steve Draeger, and Kelly (Wally Cook) Fuchs; cousins, Nathan Draeger and Abby Fuchs. He is further survived by his godparents, Steven and Christine Fischer, other relatives, and many friends. Ryan was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ronald Schroeckenthaler. A memorial service for Ryan will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1415 Dopp St. Waukesha, WI 53188. The family will receive friends and relatives starting at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. Chris Marien will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family for a charity to be decided at a later date.
