Mrs. Sally L. Brower, 60, of Gloversville, passed away January 15, 2014 at her residence. She was born October 28, 1953 in Gloversville, daughter of the late Victor and Elna Lobdell Rulison. Sally was educated in Gloversville school and was a devoted wife and homemaker, she especially loved her grandchildren. Early in her life, she was employed at Winig Slippers and Lexington. She enjoyed camping, fishing and all outdoor activities. Sally was always ready for a game of cards or Yatzee. She will be sadly missed. She is survived by her husband Larry Brower of Gloversville whom she married February 3, 1973. Sally is also survived by her children: Sherri Bujanowski C.J. of Johnstown, Beverly Fountain Robert Jr. of Gloversville, Eva Brower Theodore of Gloversville and Gloria Brown Scott Keller of Amsterdam. Sally leaves her siblings; Fred Rulison of Gloversville, Donna Desrochers Fred of Hamlet, NC, Sandy Oathout of N. Carolina, Maryjane Eagan of Mayfield, Jeannette Bills of Gloversville, Nina of Gloversville, Margery Fountain of Fonda and Darlene Gardner of Amsterdam. She is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a son-in-law Michael Brown. Sally was pre-deceased by a son Jackie Rulison, and her brothers; Walter Rulison, Jackie Rulison and Teddy Wiederman The family will receive friends on Friday January 17, 2014 at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St. Gloversville from 12 noon to 1 pm.
