Sharon L. Genson, passed away in the arms of her daughters and grandchildren on Wednesday, June 27, 2007. She was born July 9, 1941 in Yakima to Robert and Erma Kinney. Sharon was raised in Yakima and graduated from AC Davis High School there. She went on to receive her degree in Nursing. During her working career she had been a Nursing Home Administrator and most recently worked for Nicholas and Associates in Olympia. She enjoyed her grandkids, shopping, gardening, crafts, playing cards, board games and bingo. Sharon is survived by her former spouse, Jerry Genson; life partner, Wayne Kingston; daughters, Lori Genson, Lisa Phillips, Kari Stroud and Kathy Genson; brothers, Robert Kinney, Jr. and Greg Kinney; sisters, Patricia Aragon and Linda McAleer; her mother, Erma Kinney and ten grandkids, Lisa and Chrissy Graham, Dalton Todd, Chrissy Krausse, Justin and Jacob Mathers, Marissa and Morgan Stroud, Tori Lane and Jochelle Varner. Sharon was an exceptional, devoted and unselfish Mother/Grandmother. We will miss her deeply everyday.
