Obituary Sheridan Ladell "Sheri" Barker, 64, of Fort Collins passed away on March 28, 2016 after a brief illness. Sheri was born on November 3, 1951 in Dumas, Texas to Ralph and Jean Nichols. Sheri came to Fort Collins after graduating from high school in Las Vegas, New Mexico. She married Ken Barker on May 6, 1978 in Fort Collins. Sheri was a dedicated stay at home mom while her children were young, then became the office manager for Barker Construction. She was very organized and loved to crochet and sew. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her and she cherished her family time in Red Feather Lakes. She was an excellent cook of Southern food. Survivors include her husband Kenneth, daughter Kayla Ashcroft, son David (Flip) Barker, grandchildren Kaylana, Colten Ryeanne, Brayden and Trinton Barker. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Ric Nichols. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 10:30 am, Windsong Estate, East of Ft. Collins on Hwy 14 at Hwy 257. A reception will follow at the Ft. Collins Elks Club.
