STEPHEN MICHAEL SANDERS Stephen Michael Sanders, age 58, a resident of Mohave Valley, Ariz. passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018. He was born on June 8, 1960 in San Bernardino, Calif. to Jerry W. (Laurel) Sanders of Alturas, Calif. and Sandra L. Sanders (Curtis) Cleary. He graduated from San Gorgorino High School. Stephen, although born, raised, and married in and around San Bernardino, loved the high desert and spent most of his time along the Colorado River with his grandfather Raymond Sanders. They both shared their love of fishing in the mighty river. As he grew older everyone knew he would finally buy a home along the majestic Colorado. Stephen loved fishing and hunting but more importantly his greatest love was music. He learned to play the trombone in school. He played the sound system for several bands traveling with them on their gigs. Through the years his collection of musical instruments grew. He is going to be missed by his family and all who knew him. He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie M. (Quinton) Dorris of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; son, Todd M. (Crystal) Sanders of Highland, Calif.; mother, Sandra L. Sanders (Curtis) Cleary of Calif.; father, Jerry W. (Laurel) Sanders of Alturas, Calif.; sisters, Angel A. (Gary) Williams of Roy, Wash., Raylene D.
